Willkay
Willkay is an artist, graphic designer and art director with a bright outlook on subject matter that opens the heart and lightens the mind. Studying at Central Saint Martins, followed by the London College of Communication, Willkay’s illustration and graphic design work has caught the attention of brands who then turned in to clients, including Stormzy, Microsoft (orchestrated through West Contemporary Editions under our former guise of Beautiful Crime Agency for their Go Imagine campaign) as well as BBC, Adidas, G Shock and Converse. An artist whose work is intricate, skillfully drawn and playful, Willkay fuses a palette of fresh colours with subject matter that can often be overlooked within the everyday urban environment.
Willkay often binds together a number of mediums in his works, such as photography, illustration and graphic design. Drawing upon the culture, music and environment around him, he will often draws animals that take on a character of their own, each harbouring their own stories for the viewer to ponder.
