VAT / IMPORT TAX
Following the end of the transition period for the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union (EU), the treatment of VAT and import taxes/customs charges on exports to EU customers has changed. West Contemporary's website and shipping procedures have been amended to comply with these new rules.
All non-UK customers will now pay the amount of the goods minus VAT when they get to the checkout page. Any relevant or applicable VAT, import taxes or customs charges will then be payable in their local jurisdiction, upon the receipt of the goods.*
*This means each customer is responsible for any custom charges they may receive upon receiving their artworks from us.
