A mixed-media work created by hand-painting directly over a black-and-white photograph, its vintage image of a Porsche submerged in a modernist swimming pool evoking the glamour and excess of another era. The bold, hand-painted red LOVE disrupts the original image, transforming something seemingly nostalgic into something personal, playful and provocative. Love Made Me Do It explores the way we revisit the past — colouring it with our own emotions until the memory becomes as much ours as the moment itself.
