Created directly onto the Financial Times of Thursday 18 November 2021, this mixed-media work was inspired by front-page news that David Bowie’s extraordinary songwriting catalogue was being prepared for sale. Just months later, in January 2022, the catalogue was acquired by Warner Chappell Music for a reported $250 million.

Woven into the piece is a print of an original ticket to see Bowie at Hammersmith Odeon — costing just £1.50.
