Man & Mortar feat. Tim Shieff
Man & Mortar feat. Tim Shieff
‘Man & Mortar’ is a globally recognised naked-man-meets-London photography project featuring Parkour world champion, Tim Shieff collaborating with friend and fellow Parkour athlete turned professional photographer, Jason Paul. The idea concocted by the two friends saw Tim literally jumped across London’s buildings with no clothes on, whilst Jason took photos from a great height. Whilst it impressively looked like a Greek sculpture had escaped the V&A Museum and was running amok about town, the results were and are stunning, and had to be made into limited edition prints. The first launch in 2014 was hugely successful by way of sales and press coverage and so we are delighted to present these rare, available pieces. The photographs were also promoted with the help of Shieff’s friend, chef and TV presenter Jamie Oliver, with 10% of the initial print release in 2014 going to his charity, Fifteen.
"Lots of the London architecture we shot against has a square, rigid and linear feel to it, contrasting starkly with the curves of the athletic, natural human form." Jason Paul.
